Quick Tip

I just wanted to give you a brief quick tip about broccoli. Being broccoli lovers, we have tried virtually every brand on the market. Every time I buy fresh broccoli, by the time I get all the stems and leaves cut off, I have about a fourth of what I actually paid for - not cost effective at all! Every brand of frozen broccoli I have tried has been at least (if not more) 50% stems. I have even emailed popular companies to ask them why, and gotten back various non-answers about the "proper stem to floret ratio." If I buy something, I want to use it all, not what they think the ratio of edible vs. non-edible should be! I have finally found the holy grail of cost effective, tasty broccoli. Walmart has a 5 lb bag of broccoli florets for less than $6. Did you catch that? FLORETS! You get all of what you pay for, and it tastes great. They also have other veggies packaged this way as well. Compare the price per pound to other brands and you will see that there is a huge savings to be had here. Yum!

I am planning an eco-friendly baby shower for my sister, and, trying so hard to think of different things to do. Anyway...... I came up with a wishing well where each guest will be asked to bring one organic jar of baby food, but I don't know how to present it in invitations or at the shower? I searched and searched the internet and could NOT find anything to help, hoping you ladies can!!!!!!

Do i have to get an auto insurance when i buy a used car? or else, they don't sell the car to a person who doesn't have an auto insurance? I currently have a lease car that will be returned this January next year. But i want to get a used car soon so that i can work on the car, but i won't be driving it around. The car will be in my garage until i return the lease car and get an auto insurance. I live in Philadelphia, PA
Any suggestion?

It depends on where you buy the car from, and if you pay cash or not. If you finance a car you will need to carry insurance even if you aren't driving it. Some used car dealers require you to have insurance to drive it off the lot, even if you pay cash, but you can pay for one month's worth of liability inurance when you buy the car, then don't worry about it until you are ready to drive it.

I understand if you file a claim with your insurance company to get your car fixed or whatever, they have subrogation rights to sue the other person's insurance company to be reimbursed for what they paid you to get your car fixed. However, this would look bad since you have a claim on your record. So should you file a claim with the other person's insurance company rather than your own?

Also, if you are not at fault and you needed to be compensated for pain and suffering, would your auto insurance houston company pay you more than your policy limits and subrogate against the insurance company of the other party?

Since I am not an insurance expert, I would suggest you contact your insurance agent with your questions. Good Luck.

When adjusters get that package thing by an attorney with documents, photos and various other papers and etc. For how long does it typically state in the letter to reply? Do adjusters actually respond by or on the date? Whenever they respond by phone, e-mail, letter or fax?
